I get a lot of questions about the fish in my logo. It is a female convict cichlid, Archocentrus nigrofasciatus. She is about 3 inches long, total length. You can tell it is a female because of the orange patch in the belly area. Not all convict females are as attractive as this one: there is substantial variation between different populations of convicts.
