Cichlids lend themselves nicely to certain forms of art, in particular, drawing. My interest lies in technical illustration and I have several examples below. Click on the images to see better views of the drawings (thumbnails sometimes play havoc with art).

Breeding female convict cichlid. The blurred motion in this image captures the almost frantic activity of a convict female guarding babies.
